ISUZU INTRODUCES ALTERRA ZEN EDITION

ZEN is a school of Buddhism that teaches enlightenment through meditation. Its students are known to exhibit profound wisdom in all important aspects of life. In addition, Zen connotes minimalism and promotes only the use of necessary items. It is this philosophy that inspired the name of the latest Isuzu Alterra variant–the Zen Edition.

Isuzu Philippines Corp. announces the release of the new Alterra Zen Edition, another value-for-money proposition that makes the award-winning SUV available to more Filipino buyers. The Zen Edition is basically a 4×2 Alterra–available with a manual or automatic transmission. The pricing for the Alterra Zen Edition is very competitive: P1.45 million for the manual and P1.505 million for the automatic.

The Alterra Zen Edition is indeed aimed at enlightened SUV customers as its features still top those of its main competitors in its class. These include attractive 16-inch alloy wheels, transmitter-integrated keyless entry system, new projector headlamps and fog lamps, leather seats, power-retractable side mirrors, a JVC KD-G396 audio head unit with iPod connectivity, and license-plate garnish.

Of course, the Alterra Zen Edition is also powered by Isuzu’s vaunted 4JJ1-TC 3.0-liter CRDi diesel engine that’s already Euro III-compliant. The best part? Buyers of the Alterra Zen Edition get to choose from an array of accessories that they can install on their new SUV to make it stand out and uniquely their own. Think of a smorgasbord of customization appointments, and you have an already good-looking SUV that its owners can still modify according to their own style or taste or rules.

It doesn’t end there. According to IPC President Keiji Takeda, “the Isuzu Alterra Zen Edition has bigger cargo space, a longer wheelbase and a more comfortable ride compared to other 4×2 SUVs in the market today.” There is no doubt that the new Isuzu Alterra Zen Edition is currently the best package for enlightened and thus discerning 4×2 SUV buyers.
